If you have downloaded “Arya Theme”, please extract the zipped package downloaded from Theme Store to your desktop. In the extracted package you will find aryatheme.zip which is the WordPress theme file.
For MAC users when you download a theme file make sure you do not unzip aryatheme.zip file. You are suppose to upload the .zip file itself.
You can install the theme one of two ways:
THEME INSTALLATION THROUGH WORDPRESS DASHBOARD
- Step 1: Login to your admin page.
- Step 2: Navigate to Appearance → Themes.
- Step 3: Click Install Themes and click the upload button
- Step 4: Navigate to find the aryatheme.zip file on your computer and click Install Now.
- Step 5: Wait while the theme is uploaded and installed.
- Step 6: Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance → Themes and activate it.
THEME INSTALLATION THROUGH FTP
- Step 1: Log into your FTP client to access your host web server.
- Step 2: Browse to find the aryatheme.zip file on your computer and extract the aryatheme.zip file
- Step 3: Upload the extracted folder to the /WP-content/themes/ folder on your server.
- Step 4: Login to your admin page.
- Step 5: Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance → Themes and activate it.

After you active Arya Theme, you will see a notification message to activate the required plugins. Elementary Page Builder and Everest Toolkit are required. Click on Install Button on each plugin to start installing them. After you’ve installed them, activate them.
We have included a welcome screen on your WordPress to make it easy to navigate everything about Arya Theme. After activating theme & plugin, navigate to Appearance → Arya Multipurpose Info or Arya Multipurpose Info Pro. You can see the image below for reference:
Getting Started Tab: This tab shows you the steps to start the theme and links for documentation, video tutorials and to buy pro theme.
Recommended Actions Tab: This tab shows the required plugin to install for the theme.
Support Tab: This tab shows you links for any kind of support required relating to this theme.
FRESH WORDPRESS USERS:
We assume demo import is best for a freshly installed WordPress site. Delete Hello world! Post form Dashboard → Posts & Sample page from Dashboard → Pages which comes by default to get the best and exact demo. For Demo Import you need to go in Appearance → Import Demo Content.
FOR EXISTING WORDPRESS USERS :
If your site has old data and importing demo, then you should not freak out about old data. Your old data will not be removed or replaced. You have to go to Dashboard → Appearance → Import Demo Content.
After navigating to Import Demo Content, you will see different available demos. You can live preview from there and import also. Click on the Import button to import demo data. Lean back and wait for approximately 3-5 minutes, depending upon various factors. That’s all you need to do. When demo import is done, now its time to setup homepage, widgets, banner, menu and a few other settings according to your requirements.
If your site content is empty (no posts/pages), you have nothing to do more. But if your site have posts/pages, you have to use a plugin Regenerate Thumbnails to generate necessary thumbnails for Arya Theme. You can install Regenerate Thumbnails from Dashboard → Appearance → Plugins → Add New. Search for Regenerate Thumbnails, install plugin and activate it. (Install & use this plugin only after installing and importing demo.) Check the image below for reference:
After activating Regenerate Thumbnails, go to Dashboard → Tools → Regenerate Thumbnails and click on Regenerate All Thumbnails and wait for it until it’s done.
Either you start Arya Theme by importing demo or just activating the theme, you need to set up Homepage. For setting up a homepage, make sure you have page assign for the homepage. If you import demo content, then you have nothing to do and move ahead. But if you don’t have any pages, then you can create new pages from Dashboard → Pages → Add New and give page title and publish it. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Reading → Your Homepage Displays → A Static Page → Homepage: and select page “Home” or “YourCreatedPage”. See the screenshot below for reference:
Arya Theme is crafted with handy important customization options powered by WordPress live customizer. You can find all options under Dashboard → Appearance → Customize.
From Dashboard → Appearance > Customize → Site Layout , you can set your site layout either in full width or boxed layout.
If you select Boxed Layout, you can set the background image or color from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Background.
You can customize your header part from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Header. You can set site logo or site title, tagline and site title color from Site Identity. If you set logo, then title is not displayed and vice versa. You can set site icon from Site Icon.
You can also customize inner banner of header from Inner Banner. You have an option to upload image inorder to display. Color options are available in gradient layers with opacity on Pro.
There is an option for sticky header to enable or disable on Main Header. Color option for header background is available on Pro. Menu color option is also available on Pro & can be customized on Menu Color.

You can customize individual site pages from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Pages. Details are given below:
BLOG/ARCHIVE/SEARCH PAGES & SINGLE POST:
There are options for displaying post category, author, date, excerpt and featured image. Selecting individual sidebar to Blog/Archive/Search Pages are also available on Pro. For single post regarding sidebar, you can set manually, see the reference on Single Post for more details. Check the screenshot below for reference:
You can set the excerpt length on Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Pages→ Common Options. If you have sidebar, then post excerpt length should be decreases up to which it makes design good and match the design. If no sidebar is chosen, then it should be increases up to which it match the design. By default, it is set to 40.
There is also an option for selecting Global Sidebar to Blog/Archive/Search Pages on Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Sidebar.
Enable option is provided in Pro. If you enable this option, then individual sidebar options will be disabled and global sidebar option will be activated. Sidebar position will be common for posts, pages, blog page, archive page and search page.
You can edit the copyright text and option for scroll top button from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Footer. See the screenshot below for reference:
SITE PRELOADER (PRO):
You can enable or disable site preloader from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Preloader.
SITE TYPOGRAPHY (PRO):
You can select default body and headings font family from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Typography.
SITE COLORS (PRO):
You can set default theme color from Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Site Colors.
Navigation Menu can be added from WordPress Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Menu. See the screen shot below:
We’ve included a lot of free and pro plugins in this theme – it’s a huge bonus when you purchased Arya Theme (which is included Pro version of Elementor). You can use Elementor for free also.
Arya Theme only requires 2 plugins: Elementor & Everest Toolkit which extends the advanced features of theme.

GETTING STARTED WITH ELEMENTOR PAGE BUILDER
Elementor Page Builder is a plugin, so you need to install and activate. You can install from Dashboard → Plugin → Add New and search for Elementor. After installing, activate it to take advantage of all its features.
You have to install and activate additional files for Elementor Pro which comes with Pro file downloaded from our store. You can install it from Dashboard → Plugin → Add New and click on Upload Plugin. Then, upload the file that comes with Pro file without extracting .zip file. Activate this plugin and you can use Pro Features of Elementor.
After all, Elementor gives you control over the layout of your pages. Just add a new page or edit existing page and you will see new button “Edit with Elementor”, this will take you to live front-end editor. See the screenshots below for reference:
From here, you can choose page layout (Theme Default, Elementor Full Width, Elementor Canvas (Pro) ), add rows, columns, buttons, text, images and so much more using all of the Elementor Page Builder’s options. Plus, there’s an option to save your layouts as templates to be reused over and over again.
ROWS AND COLUMNS
Rows and columns are the basic elements to build the layout. Think a row like a horizontal section on your website and columns are vertical parts of that section.
First, you need to add a row. Doing that by clicking the plus (+) button and select structure of column you want.
Now you can see the plus (+) button inside each column. Clicking that button displays list of element that you can insert into the column.
Drag and drop the elements you want to insert from list of Elements to (+) icon. You can edit the each elements like its content, styles and advanced options.
After finishing, click update button to save or save as template for saving. You can also preview the changes you made.
Each element might have different options and you should try them to see how they appear in the frontend.
We have bunch of elements that supports on Elementor Page Builder. In order to make them easy to find, we put them in a group with our theme name – “ARYA MULTIPURPOSE DEFAULT WIDGETS” for free users or “ARYA MULTIPURPOSE PRO DEFAULT WIDGETS” for Pro users.
And from here you can add our elements into your page easily. There are no differences between built-in Elementor Page Builder elements and theme elements, but their configuration.
When you use the theme elements, you should start with our demo content first, to understand how we use them. Then you can adjust them to fit your requirements. But that doesn’t mean you can play with them from scratch!

There is also option for portfolios who needed it. You can have portfolio title, description, category, featured image and portfolio infos like Name of Client, Website Link and date. To see list of your portfolios, you have to use custom link. https://yourdomain.com/portfolio/ . Change yourdomain to your original domain name. You can add it or view from Dashboard → Portfolio. Portfolio Single Page:
In single post, you have an option for choosing sidebar for individual post. You have to add new post or edit existing post from Dashboard → Posts. Choosing sidebar option is at right bottom labeled with Sidebar Position. You can set sidebar to rieght, left or no sidebar (none). You can also use elementor post layout which can be found on Post Arrributes and click on Edit with Elementor. Check screenshot for reference:
We have custom widgets for siderbar and footer widgets area. You can find widgets on Dashboard → Appearance → Widgets. Just drag and drop the widgets to the Sidebar/Footer 1/ Footer 2/ Footer 3/ Footer 4 widgets area. See the screenshot below for reference:

You can show recent posts from this widget. You can set title, number of posts and option for showing posted date. See the screenshots below:

This theme is tested with WooCommerce and compatible with it. You can use this theme for creating website store. To install WooCommerce, you have to go to Dashboard → Plugin → Add New and search for WooCommerce. Install and activate it to start your store.
