2. GETTING STARTED
First of all, Thank you so much for purchasing this theme and for being our loyal customer. You are awesome!

2.1 THEME INSTALLATION ( THROUGH WORDPRESS DASHBOARD )
You can install theme from WordPress admin dashboard. This will be the first process of installing theme in your WordPress website.
Select the theme from your computer & hit install. After you install Activate theme.
2.2 THEME INSTALLATION ( THROUGH FTP )
- Login to you file manager with FTP client with your FTP user-name & password
- Navigate to your WordPress installation
- Navigate to wp-content folder and then to themes folder.
- Upload our theme folder with the FTP client to Themes folder inside wp-content folder
- Log-in to wordpress dashboard & now activate the theme.
2.3 RECOMMENDED ACTIONS
Once you’ve Everest News, theme installed and activated, a message will pop up to install “Everest Toolkit”. Install this plugin and activate it. Now, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Mocho Blog Info and install all the plugins recommended by us. You will also find short links for customization and support. For importing the demo contents, please go to 2.4 DEMO DATA IMPORT and follow further instructions.
NOTE : FOR EXISTING WORDPRESS USERS :
After installing and activating the plugin “Everest Toolkit” which is recommended by us, you have to check whether your homepage setting is set to “Your latest posts” or not. If you are not sure then, you can go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading and click on “Your latest posts”. If they are set properly then there is noting to worry about using our theme.
2.4 DEMO DATA IMPORT
FOR FRESH WORDPRESS USERS :
We suppose demo import is best for a freshly installed WordPress site. Delete Hello world! post form Dashboard > Posts & Sample page from Dashboard > Pages which comes by default to get the best and exact demo.
Lean back when we take care of everything. We have made demo import more convenient for you. Follow the steps below to import demo.
- Click on Dashboard > Appearance > Import Demo Content
- Click on Import Demo button of which you like most
- Once import completes, you are good to go.
FOR EXISTING WORDPRESS USERS :
Before importing demo data. please be sure you have set your homepage settings to “Your latest posts”. If you are not sure then, please kindly follow instructions on 2.3 RECOMMENDED ACTIONS.

- Click on Dashboard > Appearance > Import Demo Content
- Click on Import Demo button of which you like most

3. CUSTOMIZER OPTIONS
Mocho Blog is crafted with handy important customization options powered by wordpress live customizer. You can find all options under Dashboard > Customizer.
Font Option : You can switch between 800 ++ Google fonts according to your requirements.
Colors : You can switch any primary color that best match your brand or need.
Sidebars : We understand that some peoples may not like sidebars. To make your need hassle free we have added sidebar options you can have sidebar either in left, right or completely disable it. You can find on Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Sidebars.

4. HEADER SECTION
You can basically tweak header section with styles as per your need. You can do that in few clicks though WordPress Customizer.
Options for Header section are placed inside WordPress customizer which are Sticky header, Top header, Header search, Changing logo.
Sticky Header : Make logo & navigation portion sticky when scrolling
Custom logo : You can upload your custom blog logo. We recommend to use 250px size height of logo.
Header top & header top social icons : You can assign social icons at header top and navigation menu form the customizer options.
4.1 HEADER TOP SECTION
Mocho Blog Header top section can be customized from customizer. Navigate to WordPress
Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Header. You can enable or disable the header options.
To add top menu, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus and follow the below screenshot.
For social links options are inside Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Social Links.
4.2 HEADER SECTION PRIMARY NAVIGATION & LOGO
Logo can be changed from Site identity option inside Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Basic Customization. We recommend to use height of your logo 250px.
Primary Navigation can be added from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menu.

5. BANNER SECTION
You can enable or disable the banner section.
You can easily edit the banner section in Mocho Blog Theme though Customizer. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Homepage Customization > Banner Section. You can select the Categories and its number of Posts to display. You can also set the Button Title.
6. FEATURED SECTION
Mocho Blog theme has featured layout option. It is used for displaying specific category posts.
You can customize Featured Section from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Homepage Customization > Featured Section.

7. POST PAGE
You can show the related posts and share option title on post page. You have to go to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Post Page.
You can enable or disable the related posts. You can set title and number of posts to display for this.
You can also enable or disable author info section as well as set the social share section title.
8. OTHER OPTIONS
You can find rest of the advance options in the Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Other Options.
You can enable or disable the sections like breadcrumb, social share and more which are shown in the above screenshot.
You can set the length of the post excerpt as per the requirements. Make sure, you set the length that matches the post layout so that it makes layout perfect.
9. FOOTER SECTION
As Mocho Blog is Blogging theme we do have special widget ready for Mocho Blog. You can add widget for footer from Dashboard > Appearance > Widget.
Available special footer widget are as follows:
Footer Text & Footer Social Links can be edited from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization. You can set footer text in > Footer where as social links in > Social Links.
Footer Navigation Menu can be added from WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menu.
For Instagram widget and special widgets for footer, it is described on WIDGETS SECTION below.
10. SIDEBAR SECTION
Mocho Blog have added sidebar options you can have sidebar either in left, right or completely disable it. You can also make sidebar to be sticky. For this, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Advance Customization > Sidebars.
Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and insert the available widgets to the sidebar as shown in screenshot.
11. WIDGET SECTION
There are various available widgets by default and custom widgets also. They can be found on Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. Our custom widgets are described below :
- MBP: Author Widget: This widget shows the author profile on the page. It can be set on any sidebar and footer widget section area. You can set the title, link title and signature also.
- MBP: Categories Widget: This is use to show the categories with its feature image which is shown in below screenshot. In order to set feature image for category, go to Dashboard > Posts > Categories. Click on the edit option on category list and you can set the feature image there.
*Note: You should set feature image for category in order to use this widget.
- MBP: Instagram Widget: This widget is use to show the Instagram images. This can be use on any widget area. In order to display it above the footer, drag and drop this widget to Instagram Widget Area. You have option to set title, image size, number of image to show, your Instagram title and link also.
- MBP: Post Widget: This widget is use to display the recent posts, most commented post and editor pick post. It can be use on any sidebar and footer widget area. You have the option to set the title, type of posts and number of posts to display.
For selecting editor pick post, go to Dashboard > Posts , add new post or edit existing post and follow the screenshot below:
