Everest News Ad placeholder widget
I was operating a website with the free version of this EverestNews Theme: https://wordpress.org/themes/everest-news/
My website consisted of republished articles from larger news sites. The domain name was loumtaylor.com
My website was up for maybe 2 weeks max after she unethically obtained my information, hired a PI, and I was threatened by her lawyers.
Lou Taylor filed a lawsuit against me claiming that I was selling "ad space" with this theme. You can read about it here with screenshot of the site:
I wanted to make this thread to see if it's possible to get a statement from Everest Themes and other users stating the the "ad space" pictured directs you to purchase the full version of the for Everest News Pro Theme. I may need it for court and it would be helpful to show. Her exhibit also includes the articles that were included with the theme as I was working on it when I had free time.
Thanks to anyone who vouch! I am fighting back as she is also claiming I own LouMTaylor.net and I have nothing to do with this website.
We are WordPress Theme / Plugins Development Company. We have both a free version as well as its Premium Version. And we have not sold any ad space to our free / Premium theme users. Yes, we place ad banner in our live theme demo and the purpose of this is just to indicate that this is space for advertisement generally we place our own advertisement banner just to inform about Premium Version. When a user imports our demo then exact demo import to the user site.
@everstthemes Can you confirm this "AD" placed shown in the photo above is from the free version of the theme to purchase the premium version of the theme?
